REALTOR® - Waterview Agent
I grew up the Mid Cities area of Fort Worth and was a '74 graduate of Richland High School. After
graduating from high school a year early I went to work for a large locally based Multi-national
Corporation and attended night classes at Tarrant County College as well. My spare time was spent
raising quarter horses and racing in the Texas and New Mexico area.
In the late 1970's I was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan and decided to try out for the Dallas Cowboy
Cheerleaders. Although I didn't make the squad I was proud to make it into the top 60 out of
over 3000 entries. Wow, what an experience!
In the early 90's I decided to make a career change. I had moved to de Cordova Bend Estates in
Granbury in the summer of 1988 and started my real estate career in the summer of 1990 by joining
the largest, most successful, nationally known real estate office in Granbury. I learned a great
deal about people and grew as an individual while at that office but decided to semi retire in the
summer of 2001 to spend more time with my husband. I maintained my real estate license but was
not active.
In 2005 I started my own business as a Residential Professional Organizer helping people clear the
clutter in their lives and continue to do that on a part time basis.
In 2007 I accepted the position of Reservations Coordinator for the Granbury Women's Connection, a
Christian women's outreach program associated with Stonecroft Ministries, a non-profit organization.
I became active in real estate again in 2010 and am currently the Lead Agent and Authority on the
homes at Vistas Edge in the Waterview retirement community located just down the street and few blocks
away from the historic Granbury town square.
I am married to John Sears, a '60 Paschal High alum and although I was never blessed with my own
children I have a nephew and niece I feel are my own. My nephew is the Visual Manager of the San
Antonio Neiman Marcus store and my niece is a High School teacher at McKinney High in McKinney, Texas.
I'm a very proud aunt.
I don't like conflict...I like to see people happy and my aim is to make my clients happy and satisfied.
If I were to state my philosophy or theory of life it is we might not understand why things happen but
there is a reason for everything.
